Zap everything.

A modern IPTV player for the Xtream or M3U access you already have. It starts on the TV.

Closed beta · Android and Fire TV

What you use it for

Zapello is the front end for access you already have. You enter it once — as Xtream credentials or as an M3U address — and a long, unsorted list turns into one you can actually read.

The guide comes with it: what is on now, what is on next. Films and series get artwork, a description and a watchlist.

The rest is handling — switch fast, rename channels, reorder them, hide the ones you never watch, and, with a Zapello account, carry on from the same spot on your next device.

For that to work, your access details sit with us encrypted — they only become readable on your own devices. We keep the key apart from them, in a hardened key service. If you would rather hold it yourself, switch on “Enhanced privacy”.

Speed

Channel switching under 800 ms, cold start under two seconds — the limits we build against and measure on every build.

Design

One dark, quiet interface built from a single set of parts — made for the remote and for the finger.

Everywhere

One account, several devices, the same list. Android and Fire TV today. More platforms are planned — we will name one when it is certain.

Measured on a Fire TV stick against a fixed test track, not estimated. Where an access serves its lists in several stages, switching takes longer — that is down to your access, not to the app.

What we are working on

What we will not build

Zapello is meant to stay in the official app stores for good. They have rules, and we follow them instead of working around them. That is not a limit we regret — it is the condition for this app still being here in two years.

So we do not supply content, we do not broker it, and we do not recommend any. There is no search for access and no directory of it, no built-in browser and no third-party advertising.

Support will not answer questions about sources either. Not out of rudeness — it is the one answer we give nowhere.

These are not features that are still missing. They are not planned, and that is not up for a vote.

Download

The beta comes as a file you install yourself — not through a store yet. Download it, install it, sign in inside the app.

Download the APKBuild 0.9.2

Right now Zapello runs on Android devices and on Fire TV. There is nothing for other platforms yet — not even a test build.

Compare it against your file after downloading. If they do not match, the download was incomplete — fetch it again. If the difference remains, do not install it and tell us.

Straight onto the TV

On Fire TV the route is the Downloader app. Type the address there with your remote — we cannot make it shorter, and on a D-pad every character counts.

This is a closed beta

Anyone may download it. Only unlocked accounts can use it: the app checks when you sign in, and without an unlock you land on a waiting screen instead of your own channel list.

Unlocking happens by hand, one account at a time. That is not manufactured scarcity — it is the only way a small round of testers gets looked after without reports piling up unread.

The way in is the waitlist. We write to you when we hand out the next seats. We cannot give you a date, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

One address, one confirmation click. We write to you about the beta and about the launch — nothing else.

We store your address for that and nothing else, and delete it when you unsubscribe. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Details in our Privacy.
